Apple Cider Party

A couple weeks ago went up to San Ramon to a friend's annual apple cider party. I love this idea to welcome fall and there was a great crowd and a plethora of apple themed dishes. Everything from apple pork roast to salads and just imagine the desserts. I was stuffed. The family has their own hand apple press and hundreds of apples were used to make the cider.

Genius move: get the kids to perform your slave labor. All those apples had to be cored and sliced.

Matthew and Sarah taking their turn at the press.

Turning the crank AND sucking on a carmel/apple lollipop. What coordination!

  1. Great pictures! So glad you, Louis and the kids could make it! We'll need to make sure the next time we hang out there aren't a couple hundred other people... ;)
