Swim Lessons

Last week the twinners finished up their first set of independent swim lessons. Which means that now they are 3 they don't need a parent in the water with them, which I couldn't do anyways because they have a rule about one parent to one child ratio. They say safety, I say discrimination against moms with multiples.

They did great. Only Sarah was upset the first day but a bribe of a popsicle took care of that and they were charging out of the car for the pool every day. Matthew had no problem following the directions of Chloe, the cute instructor.
I got thirty minutes of zen time on the pool deck playing with Braden while they took their lesson.
My view:

Each day before leaving, Sarah would wave and yell across the pool, "Bye Chloe, see you later!" She definitely got over any anxiety.

There were suppose to be two other kids in the class but one never showed up and the other dropped out because he wouldn't stop crying. So they got their own private set of lessons.

  1. Good work! I love swimming and am always surprised when I meet an adult who doesnt know how. Starting young allows the twins the freedom of being able to swim when they want to or, for safety sake, when they need to. Kudos to you.
