Fantasy Wish List

Here is my current fantasy wish list. Things that you know will NEVER happen but it would be great if they did.

1. Tropical Paradise vacation
Five star resort with nothing but tropical breezes, endless sky, and sapphire blue water. Of course the internet would have to be ideal for Louis to come so his presence is a maybe. The kids can come too but only if they let me lie around the beach and pool all day reading and sipping virgin pina coladas without causing any problems.

2. The Laundry Fairy
I don't mind sorting, wahsing, and drying clothes. It's once they are clean and in the basket I loath folding and putting them away. In my fantasy I leave the full laundry baskets out at night and in the morning the clothes are all put away nice and neat.

3. 30 Days without a sex scandal in the news. I'm only asking for 30, I've lowered my expectations.

4. Adopt-a-Grandma
If there is ever a Gray baby #4 I want to hire THIS woman's mother and mother-in-law. Read HERE and HERE what they do when she has a baby. After being hit by a Mack truck with the twin's c-section (which took like 5 months to recover from) and two nasty falls down the stairs (hip still isn't feeling right) after having Braden because I was caring for a newborn and chasing after twins when I should of been taking it easy, I think I wan't to do it next time with some help. Some women want diamonds as a "push present" but I just want someone to say, " You just nurse that baby and rest, I'll take care of everything else."

5. Potty Training Pill
There's a pill for everything else right? Why not this?

6. This man to permanently lose his voice.

  1. Blerg--this is the same conversation I had with Lancer tonight!! Vacations! Hating laundry! Perverts!

The only thing I got going for me is Bon-Bon. She comes this week, and you should jealous!

  2. Good wish list! The vacation is actually a possibility. Weve been there with SCUBA, too.

Laundry fairy is amusing, though I enjoy folding the clothes and putting them away. Let's see, if you would wash them...

The live-in postpartum help is a tough one. Post C-section it takes a while to get going, but I'm mindful of the stalwarts who stopped while plowing to drop a baby, suckled the child, and continued on. Your mother-in-law was like that, being up with Jeremy in a Snuggly on day two and at church on day 3, having four of five at home, etc. She didnt get much of a break. We'll just have to wish you luck with that one.

End of sex scandals; hmmm better chance of the live-in postpartum help.
