Summer Fun

With spring and summer upon us I've started planning all the places I want to take the twinners. Last year they were a little too young. Now that they are mobile and probably reach most height requirements, I'm ready to be out and about. So here is a list of places I want to hit up this summer. They are either close by us or the grandparents.

• Happy Hollow
• Fairyland
• Gilroy Gardens
• Oakland Zoo
• Palo Alto Junior Museum and Zoo
• Fairytale Town (Carmichael)
• Funderland Children's Park (Sacramento)
• Billy Jones Wildcat Railroad

And of course our local parks and condo complex swimming pool.

Anyone have any other ideas?

  2. All over these places. Got a season pass to Happy Hollow on Friday!!

Children's Museum in San Jose is always good for hot days. SF Zoo. Boardwalk in Santa Cruz. Great America/Boomerang Bay.

  3. That looks like a lot of adventures. I hope I get to join in on some of that fun!

  4. The Sacramento Zoo (across the street from Fairy Tale Land) is worthwhile. It's small enough to get around easily, but big enough to offer a lot of variety.

  5. Fun, fun, fun. The only thing I'd add is the riding the real Thomas when he comes to town (Roaring Camp Railroad near Santa Cruz) in August--but only if your kids have been indoctrinated into loving Thomas. Oh! And that cute little stream this spring at Shoup park in Los Altos . . . I wonder if it's running yet.
