Today in 1889 the Eiffel Tower officially opened.
I was 15 when I visited and would love to go back and bring the twins, of course.
Oh, and Blog Man can come too. But only if there is wifi.
The Eiffel Tower was built for the International Exhibition of Paris of 1889 commemorating the centenary of the French Revolution. The Prince of Wales, later King Edward VII of England, opened the tower. Of the 700 proposals submitted in a design competition, Gustave Eiffel's was unanimously chosen.

I love these photos! It looks like you're having a lot of fun with the kids and that they've learned to perform for the camera. Maybe a modeling gig will be their next job opportunity.
