You know how just about every parent says their kids are the cutest? I don't know if it's because we've got twins, or the fact that Matthew and Sarah are smaller, without the usual rolls of baby fat many kids have, or that they were born via C-section and their heads weren't "squeezed" as they can be during natural delivery, but we've always gotten comments on their appearance, since practically day one.
Now, I don't expect someone's going to come up and say, "Wow! What an ugly set of babies! Throw them back!" or have anybody say that Sarah is cute and Matthew is not... but the kids have gotten their unfair share of attention online and off. Kristine gets stopped in the supermarket to have people peek in at the kids in their stroller, and we have a hard time making our second meeting at church, when people want to get caught up after the first. More enterprising friends have even suggested we give GAP a call.
But, we're not delusional. We know we're lucky the kids have turned out as well as they have so far, but we're biased because they are ours, nothing more, nothing less. But don't tell Matthew, who is more than ready to strut his stuff and pose - as evidenced by this "come hither" look from yesterday.
